Average cs?

So I've noticed I stay at around 140ish cs by the 20minute mark regularly, and I've heard to aim for at least 70cs per 10mins for decent cs. My question is after that, is it usually acceptable to slack off (as I usually do) as objective controls and roaming becomes the priority. I just find it difficult to participate with the team past the 25ish minute mark while still keeping up in cs. What's your guy's average cs goal?

Ultimately what matters is having more CS than your opponents.

You'll notice that pro players keep their CS going throughout the game. The key is finding appropriate times to get to the side lanes and catch a few waves. Also to grab jungle camps between fights.

I'd say you should aim for 80 in the first 10 min. Then 150 by 20 min. Then 200 by 30min and 250 by 40min. I agree that it's okay for your CS to fall off once you get later in to the game. Especially if you can't instantly clear a wave, if you're grouped and sieging a turret or pushing down a lane you'll be lucky to get 1 cs in the wave as the whole team blows it up almost immediately. Just do your best to spot that wave of 20-30 minions pushing in a side lane and get there BEFORE it gets to a turret. If you don't react until the turret is being pressured you'll lose ~1/3 of them before you get there and another due to missing last hits at tower.

These are very good tips, I'll be sure to start watching out for the farming opportunities in future games as well meet these more specific cs goals thanks ^-^

Aim for 10 per min for every minute after 2.

over 180 by 20mins?

I said aim for it. Doesn't mean it is going to happen,

Minion waves spawn every 30 seconds (6 minions) Minion waves with siege cannon minion spawn every 3 waves (7 minions) Minion waves spawn AFTER 1 minute and 30 seconds into the game (1.5 minutes)

1.5 minutes = 3 waves, thus 10 minutes normally = 20 waves (-3) = 17 total waves Out of the 20 waves, there are 6 waves that contain 7 minions (waves 3,6,9,12,15,18) However, wave 3 is gone because it doesn't exist (minions spawn at 1.5 minutes in) -> Waves 1, 2, and 3 are gone

20 waves (total) - 6 waves (7 minions) = 14 waves (6 minions) 14 waves (6 minions) - 2 waves (first minute of game) = 12 waves with 6 minions 6 waves (7 minions) - 1 wave (last half minute of 1.5 minutes of game) = 5 waves with 7 minions

Result - 10 minutes = (12 waves x 6 minions)+(5 waves x 7 minions) = 72+35 = 107 farm (minions)

So in 10 minutes, the max amount of farm you can achieve is 107

20 minutes - 40 waves However, we know that 3 waves are gone from the 40 waves (2 of them being in the 6 minions wave, and 1 being in the 7 minions wave)

40 waves consist of 13 waves that contain 7 minions. Thus, 40 - 13 = 27 waves that contain 6 minions 27 waves - 2 "faulty" waves = 25 waves x 6 minions = 150 minions 13 waves - 1 "faulty" wave = 12 waves x 7 minions = 84 minions

Therefore, in 20 minutes, the max amount of farm you can achieve is (150+84) = 234 farm

This is a copy paste.

But it should show you just how much cs there is and how much you can get.

SO to sum up at 20 minutes you could have 234 farm. With a average of 10 per min you will have missed 54 farm or 8 waves of cs if you average 180 farm at 20 mins.

Wow, I've never actually seen this sort of math before. This is extremely helpful thanks! ^-^

Lol it's still exactly what I needed, I should probably start aiming for a higher cs count early and stop backing before 10mins (I have a tendency to do that)

Objective is more important than your CS overall. You can be behind CS and don't have the items you need in time, but can still perform the role you are doing in Objectively. There's no average CS in any gamemode, unless you are calculate it on your own. Normally, ADC's are the ones with the most CS's over any other lanes.
