How do I get better teams in ranked?

Can someone tell me? Why does someone who tries so hard to help the team and get the win get stuck playing with solo queue heroes who don't listen to anybody and constantly causes issues for the team dynamic? I thought that Riot fixed the system so that your overall stats (not just kd but everything from how you ward to your tower killing or how you ping among other recorded statistics) determined who you're grouped with? The ranked system feels so frustrating. It feel like the only thing that matters in ranked is whether you win or lose. How does that foster any sort of respect for your fellow player? When their mistakes matter not because you want to see them improve, but every mistake they make is a step closer and closer to losing LP? From what I can tell, that whole "teamwork" and "players who bad mouth their team" stuff is nonsense. Insults. Praise. Advice. Pings. Criticism. It doesn't matter. Bad players will play bad and you're stuck with them. People who refuse to learn will refuse to learn, and you're stuck with them. Yeah, there's the rare chance that you have more than one person on your team who's willing to accept and learn from advice, but how few and far between games is that?

It all just feels like you're not rewarded for being a positive, good player. You're not rewarded for being an "honorable" player. All that matters in ranked is whether or not you win or lose. Nothing else matters with this system.

I seriously wish the matchmaking was based more on just wins and losses. With so many factors beyond your control that can throw you a win or loss, it feels unfair to play your best, doing everything you can to help the team get the win, only to be given a loss, and given a terrible team in your next game all because of that loss that you couldn't in any way prevent. It may be a team game, but unless you're in a 5-man team it's still Solo Queue. Most of the time, people do not care what happens to you, but instead what happens to them. You put ten people into a two-team brawl and say "Ha-ha you should work as a team to improve and get along with eachother but nothing actually matters except whether or not you win" and what's expected to happen? Some people have no idea what to do in certain situations. Other people are completely fed up with doing everything they can, only to be disappointed in the end because of having to rely on others. Then there's the occasional "I don't need your help I know what I'm doing" type of person.

Like, I'm not saying that wins and losses should be irrelevant to your rise or fall in the ranks, just that the weight of those wins or losses shouldn't rely on strictly the outcomes themselves, but instead your overall performance in the game, and I know how simple it would be to record and factor different aspects of the game considering we now have a rating system that takes into consideration certain things. Is it too difficult to award positive points to the losing player who always help his teammates, acquired more assists than kills because he helped lanes succeed, and less deaths because he didn't take unnecessary risks, placed wards at certain spots in relation to the lane he was part of, and made sure to communicate through pings?

Overall you're pretty inconsistent. Sometimes you have 7 cs a minute, which is really good, and other times you barley have 3, which is really bad. Your builds are also really inconsistent. Sometimes you go full crit Garen, AD Sona, and full AD mord and other games you actually build pretty well.

That's the way you gotta play to enjoy the game lol BUT WE'RE NOT TALKING ABOUT TAHT, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE RANKED SYSTEM.

The ranked system is the more you win the better players you get paired with. There are ragers and feeders and terrible players at all elo's, there not specific to just one. If you want to play with players who take the game more seriously get better at it first.

Your mmr is what determines who you're matched with/against, which is a hidden number that goes up/down on wins/losses respectively. How much depends on how your mmr compares to the average of the opposing team. I'm pretty sure your mmr is increasingly sensitve if you go on win/loss streaks as well.

So if you consistently win more often then you lose or you win against particularly high mmr'd oppoents (which might be the case as a side effect of premades), your mmr will go up, and you'll get matched with better folks. If you're pretty much 50:50 your mmr will stay roughly the same, and if you go off on losing streaks your mmr will tank and you'll get matched with relatively poor folks.

Ones mmr is separate from their league rank, which is mostly just a cosmetic and comparatively inaccurate measure of skill due to all the leniency on not getting demoted at 0 LP and promo helpers and so forth, which is why many people receive unpleasant surprises after doing placements (which places you based on your mmr).

You literally just have to improve yourself. In that particular screenshot, your team actually did decent. There's no huge difference in kills. If there was, then it's fine if you lose it, everyone has those games. But the game of the screenshot in particular, is winnable. You just have to coordinate good team fights or split pushes. Riots matchmaking is not discriminatory.
