Let's go!
https://i.gyazo.com/f8b0ff73b0c65edfff8378ad6cb72ba9.png I made it from platin 3 0LP into my Platin 1 Promo in 1 day. I'm really happy at my achievment so far, as my peak in season 6 was Platin 1 0LP. I hope I can reach diamond in a few days and I hope it motivates you to start climbing as well.
I main Taliyah since her release. I took a 2-months break after her W change because the different playstyle wasn't that much fun anymore and I felt quite useless afterwards, but I am really really happy that I got back to her. https://i.gyazo.com/f9e0d56808f1f167606380956ad0aa60.png She is my favorite champion ever. In almost 4 years of playing, I have never found a champion so interesting and fun to play as she is. My tipp to you is to find the perfect champion for you! You do not have to play 20 different champions in order to climb.
The most important things to climb are: **Play as many champion as possible in Normal games. ** This is so you learn the kits of other champions, to be able to play against them in ranked. You play them in normal game, to not ruin other peoples ranked and your own MMR, because you will significantly lose more games on champions you didn't play much yet.
MASTER 2 roles. Since you have to pick a primary and a secondary roles. You should master 2 roles and queue them up every time. Yes, you might get autofilled, so you should at least learn the basics of the other 3 lanes. I for example master Taliyah mid and a few support champions. I dodge the champion select if someone else picks Taliyah, which I'm glad doesn't happen too often. The 3 or 10 LP lose do not matter much to me, because they do not change my MMR and I know I can climb even with a few LP loss.
Have a positive attitude It's not always easy, but try your best not to blame your teammates. I too get a bit upset when someone does a mistake, accidentaly runs into the enemy team by thinking the team would follow. But never blame them for that. They will remember and maybe start and argument, because they thought you would follow etc. If someone does a good engage or a good objective call or gets a kill early. Say GJ. It really helps out your team by saying GJ. I like when people say well done, or good job when I made a solo kill. It helps my motivation so much.
**Buy control wards. ** Control wards are not a support thing. I usually buy 2 - 3 control wards even as a midlaner. Vision is just so important. And spending 75 gold on a ward is much better than dying because you didn't see the enemy approaching.
**Good luck on climbing, I hope the tipps help you out and I hope I could give you some motivation. **
Autofill can be a pain, but it's not as bad if you know more roles. I started playing in season 3. So I got used to play every role. In case you are newer and didn't play when there was no primary, secondary picks. Before season 6, we had the pick order. The champion select was similar to now, just that the first pick could choose whatever role they wanted and the last pick always ended up with the open role, unless you as last pick said "prefer mid" or "prefer top" etc. and even then, you had to have luck to get people to trust you to play that position. Maybe it was better then, because the game forced you to play every role once a time. It wasn't really that bad and I am a bit sad about the fact that many people can't play a certain role.

on my team or a
support.
