The amount of people in silver that don't understand how the jungle works is ridiculous

Disclaimer: I realize I'm silver, too. I made several mistakes that game, and I'm no god.

Last game, I went J4 into Udyr. I started my red, and from the information that we gathered from river wards, he started at my blue. Feel free to check my op.gg for the match in question.

Ok, so here goes. After I complete red, I go straight to his blue, then take gromp + scuttle and gank bot multiple times. Before I take blue, I tell malph to play safe because udyr would likely still be topside. Malph proceeds to 1v1 teemo and gets ganked by udyr, forcing him to burn flash and go back. He spam pings me to come top although I'm on the other side of the map and my topside jg is likely warded and gone. I explain to him that this is a case of vertical jungling and that I would stick to bot/mid and take drags while he should just play safe top. Once again, he ignores me, calls me a shit jungler, and proceeds to die numerous times to ganks, although he did manage to kill teemo once in an exchange. At this point I mute him.

We had a wombo combo comp with Malph - J4 - Orianna - MF - Pyke but not once would this malphite group for straight up 5v5s. He would continue to split top, die, and flame our teammates (this is what the pyke told me). I ended with a score of 8/7/22, even getting a quadra kill in bot after udyr and yasuo 4 manned and dove turret. He ended with a score of 4/9? I think. Clearly the jungler's fault.

Post game lobby Malph continues flaming me, saying he "won lane" and that I never once came top. This isn't the first time I've done vertical jungling (or forced to do it), and this isn't the first time that angry top/bot laners would flame me for not ganking/only ganking after ~7 minutes when the other jungler had come 3 times. My question is - why do laners not understand vertical jungling, or the mere concept of playing safe when the jungler with info sees the udyr in top river?

Tl;dr - had a game with vertical jungling, top laner played aggressive when udyr was rotating camps topside and me botside, top laner died to ganks and proceeded to flame me, the jungler for not ganking. Why do laners not understand ANYTHING about jungling and what it means to jungle?

That's more about him not knowing how to play top.

It's the same in gold/ other low elos. Either the jungle is ganking their lane every 30 seconds or is a useless pile of crap who made them feed.

I forgot it was my job to win their lane for them.

Its odd that doublelift or Jensen never flame xsmithie when they lose lane. The casters never call it out either. Someone from silver should probably coach them.

Then number of players in silver that dont understand laning is shocking.

I'm sure of that, but laners make these ridiculous/egregious assumptions about junglers, like "the jungler should always be near my lane", "the jungler should play around me", "the jungler exists to enable me".

The equivalent for junglers would be "laners should always help me when i'm invading", "laners should set up the lane perfectly for me to gank" but I don't really see this kind of mentality in junglers too often, only in laners.
