QSS doesn't remove death mark anymore?
So ADCs have to buy Zhonyas for Zed now?

Quicksilver Sash has been unable to remove Death Mark for a while now, the big reason being it shouldn't be able to do that in the first place.
As a secondary note; don't waste your gold on Zhonya's Hourglass just to try and counter Zed. Either learn to fight Zed or keep dying.

QSS removing death mark was complete and utter BS to begin with. Yes Qss can cleanse the cc portion of say malz ult buuuut the damage is atleast still applied. It was waaay to hard of a counter to zed, who at the moment isn't even particularly strong ofcourse unless fed. but thats any carry champion.
