For the love of Kled, I can't tell how much health he ever has when I go to kill him
Can we do something to make his health bar better?
Can we do something to make his health bar better?
When you got to kill him? You mean when Kled comes to kill you? Major Admiral Kled dont run, no he dont.
Major Admiral? I think you mean High Major Commodore of the First Legion Third Multiplication Double Admiral Artillery Vanguard Company. You will respect his authority.
Excuse me sir, but I already respect his authority. And i've sold my house, home, and everything i own (other than my laptop) to him so he can further expand his territory.
That and don't forget about the invulnerability....During a chaotic fight I don't see exactly where he will dismount (bad health bar) and I accidentally waste my spells while he is invulnerable...That is not outplay, that is me winning a fight, then Kled gaining the upper hand by chance.
That is a lack of knowledge and planning as well
This post was about not being able to clearly see the healthbar. You can't know or plan if you can't see the information. Pls pay attention before posting
again, lack of knowledge. it is very easy to see his health bar. it's in the same place where anyone else's health bar is. and it has a clear "kleds health" color and "mount health" color.
although if you are color blind, then maybe that is why you cna't see? if colorblind is an issue for kled's health bar visual, then it does need to be improved. but if anyone else is complaing about his mechanical visibility right now, it is 95% guaranteed to be due to lack of experience.
That's what the guy is saying. He CANNOT see the bar. Stop being dense. It's not an issue of not paying attention or lacking knowledge. It's the person not being able to see the colors.
Please read before posting.
no he did not. he said "bad health bar" which conveys zero information about why he finds it to be so, which is useless for any rioter who would feel compelled to help. lack of clarity is the issue with both posts in fact... maybe it is in fact that the health bar does need updating because players out there cannot see it realistically due to its design and not lack of experience. but WITHOUT that clarity, at this point in time, anyone who would be in a position to change the graphics would assume that STATISTICALLY any complaint is due to lack of experience.
It only conveys zero information if you take it as mindless whining instead of what it really was - a health bar that is hard to interpret. Context is key, my friend.
yes, context is key. the quote in question has no context, other then that the health bar is not satisfactory for the poster.
that is nice.
but that conveys nothing meaningful for anyone who would want to fix any issue about the health bar's visibility.
It only conveys "i have no knowledge of the game" if that's what you're looking for. Otherwise, contextually, what else could it possibly mean other than the bar having a bad look?
I agree that the comment was vague, but you surely jumped right on the "lack of knowledge" part without even confirming what the comment was about. If you don't understand what the poster is saying, or you aren't sure, then it's best to be sure or shut your mouth. Life lesson for ya right there.

LOL as his move speed is reduced and his kit is cut in half.
I said nothing about Kled's unmounted power (which is indeed very sad), but why the HELL does he go invulnerable lol??? I wouldn't mind at all if they toned down Skaarl a bit, added power to unmounted Kled, and took out the invulnerability. He is not gracefully jumping off of a horse (even then it makes no sense), but his mount is speeding off in fright, you would think he would fall flat on his face, but nope.
Well I can answer that question. He goes invulnerable because he also can't do anything during the dismount. You just "killed" half of his kit, now you want him to be finished off while he's not even allowed to do anything himself?

In that case, you got your upper hand, and blew it because you were too trigger happy and couldnt wait 0.5 seconds to blow your spells
skreet should have an orange health bar below kleds healthbar or something
*Skaarl
wait i dont see the issue, his hp is seperated, just on the same bar
colorblind off, ur (kled's) hp is green and skaarls is orange/brown (colorblind on kled hp is yellow) or if kled is on the enemy team his hp is red and skaarl is still orange/brown
i dont see what you find confusin
Read the numbers in the bar.
While most champions/monsters/everything in the game has two numbers (current health/max health), Kled has 4 (current health/max health + Scaarl current health/Scaarl max health).
yea, would you just want the current health out of the total health? because i dont know how else you would display the information? other than stack the bar on top of the other? that would just clog up the screen
I guess I'd want to see something like this:
520 (+1300) / 1820
Skaarl and Kled's total health as one number on bottom, but split on top.
This! Also, I was playing as Veigar and I used my stun and he walked right through it! He didn't have cleanse or QSS or anything that would make him immune to CC
He can hop over walls too. It's part of his kit but it's pretty frustrating because he decides when you fight. When he's done fighting he can just get away, hard as hell to kill and impossible to run from.

That's broken. He shouldn't be able to run thru/hop over stuns and whatnot.
it was said in the Champion Spotlight that he is CC immune while rolling. >.> If you didn't know you didn't watch it, making it your fault for not gathering info on the new guy. Also, while he is CC immune during his ult, his teammates right behind him are not. An example from the video showed Kled ulting deep into the enemy team, but the enemy Nami sent an Ult wave right down the lane, preventing any ally from coming to Kled's aid. This left the crazed Yordel too face his doom while his teammates either died or fled. In short, use his engage against him if you have CC and hear that charge coming.
He wasn't ulting though. If you damage him to the point he loses his first HP bar, Kled, then he's invincible and untargetable for a second.
Another information everyone already knows. You never waste CC on someone who's untargetable.
That's broken. He shouldn't be able to run thru/hop over stuns and whatnot.
He can only jump over walls on his E if his first E hit you, but then he van only do this if you went through the wall before him
There are only 2 ways to get Kled over a wall without Flash. One way is to have his back to a wall when he uses his unmounted Q, Pocket Pistol, which blast's him backwards. The other way is fancy positioning with your E, Joust, which in itself can't hop a wall.
If he unmounts he can hop a wall too if he's near it, I believe. Either that or the Kled I faced got unmounted and Q'd instantly before we could lock him down or even AA him. Either way though, that's 2-3 ways more than a lot of champions have
That is what I meant be "unmounted Q" also, his entire kit is situational. If you have Skaarl, then you Q is your mid-ranged harass, farm tool, minor cc tool. If you don't have Skaarl then your Q is your only means of escape/survival. Use it to get away, or get a small chunk of Courage which will give you Skaarl back when you hit 100 Courage. W is an auto-attack passive buff with a cooldown. Making you think when you want to use it to either farm or get heavy damage on an enemy champ. E can ONLY be used if you have Skaarl. If you don't hit an enemy champ or an epic monster with the first dash, that will be all you get. If you do hit one of them with the first dash, you have a few seconds to dash through the same target a second time. If they are right next to a wall when you hit the second dash you might go over it. If they are marked by the first dash and they try to escape over a wall, you can then use your second dash to chase them right over that wall. The R, like the E, can only be used if you have Skaarl. You use it to engage the enemy, especially since it is a very poor escape tool. The big downside to the ult is that you can risk running in to deep with it, and that while Kled may be CC immune during it, his following teammates can still be stopped in their tracks, leaving the Kled player alone in a circle of enemies.
the good downside on that ult is that its like sivir's ultimate, but 3 times faster..
Sivir can NOPE out, Kled can't. Also, some champions, such as Alistar, can counter-engage, soak Kled's R and basically engage on his terms. Gragas ult into Kled's team is outright hilarious
I agree to the nope out. But darn, even if Alistar or other counter engage champions try to do something, when the entire enemy team is running at you with 950 movement speed, you will get ran over. You just have to hope you got enough $ and items to win that team fight.
That's what I dislike about Kled. That his ult is really really powerful in giving allies movement speed, even thou his entire "identity" is that of a selfish bastard.
I mean he is "The Great Hussar,” “The High General Marshal Sergeant,” and “The Mountain Admiral”. It's him leading his soldiers into battle.
which is anti social, has no friends, no army, he doesn't lead troops to battle, he kills everyone apparently except skarl.
Even in the video teaser he is shown killing his own "noxian" fellows. When he kills yordles he makes fun of killing his own family/clan.
That's why, ally buff is totally out of place and conflicts with the champion's identity and role.
The problem i have with his R is too high MS steroid... its like 150-200% because my allies are able to hit 700-800 MS, which is ridiculous because of soft caps
Was he ulting? He's immune to cc if he's ulting.
I just wish I could read his hp pool better when I click on the guy. With the numbers being so small since they're having an hp bar for skarl and kled in one tiny overlay it's almost impossible for me to figure out what his exact hp is without straining my eyes. I kind of wish they'd put how much hp skarl has either over his hp bar like a jungle buff or epic monster, or somehow make it more visible.
Honestly, the thing I thought the way his health bar would be is that Skaarl's HP would be Kled's secondary bar/resource bar. Then, after Skaarl runs, the "Courage" meter would replace it until he returned. But, I was quite wrong.

It would be a lot easier if they coded it more like huekaiser's shield (which is as you described)
where would you put the courage bar than?

And like I said, the "Courage" bar could replace the secondary resource, essentially acting as the "refill" to Skaal's HP, and once it's full, he's back. It's easy, and I think that would have alot more "Clarity" since that's a word Rioters love to throw around, to it.
Kled is so easy to fight. You dont even need to see his health bar, just 1v1 him and 100-0 him in a few seconds.
You have to kill skaarl first, then kled. His HP bar is no worse then tahm's.
