These complaints about "wrong" placements is another reason to make Ranked system more transparent

Seriously, LOTS and LOTS people are seriously clueless about how the ranked system works in League. They don't know the difference between MMR and League and this is understandable. Following the concept of "clarity" you should do something about it, Riot. Because there is nothing clear about current League system. Yes, some of people are just being salty pricks because they don't like the tier they ended up in, but it's not the big picture. The big picture is that a big chunk of playerbase is clueless. They don't realize what MMR is and how it works together with current League system. Therefore we have CONSTANT confusion about, why they have to play with "people higher than 1 tier than me". I'm sure it causes a lot of frustration, even though I know and you know that it's not justified, THEY DON'T KNOW IT. So make your Ranked system more transparent. #FORCLARITY

What I suggest:

• Make League system based on MMR and show it instead of LP
• Get rid of division promos.
• To prevent being demoted from the tier (to fight "ladder anxiety") right away add a negative limit you can go under without being demoted to the lower tier (ie 30-50 MMR).

Everything else stays. Bo5 promos between tiers, milestones like in-League divisions and everything. But there will be no more questions "why was I placed here" and "why am I matched against this". Because you will see it from your MMR/League.
