I don't really know what to say about 3v3 Twisted Treeline anymore

Like...... I used to love 3v3 back when you had to make a team to play it ranked. Me and my friends never did very well.. usually got to gold promos and then we faced fresh new 3v3 teams full of diamonds and lose until we lost promos then rinse and repeat lol. But basically I was super excited about flex 3v3 when it was introduced. I played it a bunch during season 7 preseason had a pretty good record then of course they reset my rank, which w/e. The problem is that match making though. Like... I just can't take the mode seriously. Unless you playing it with friends I just can't take the mode seriously at all.

I am no where close to a high rank in it and haven't played 3v3 in months and decided that maybe I would give it a shot today. I am garbage at the game but have managed to get gold in both flex 5v5 & solo/duo and kinda want to go for the trifecta. Problem is I just can't take 3v3 seriously. The match making so damn random it just feels like normals. Like last season I was almost got to gold in it, which is kinda of annoying because when I played with my friends who actually 3v3 we would play people ranked like gold 1-2 or higher almost every game and win a majority of the time but takes so damn long to climb that idk... just gets boring. But that not my point. Basically my point is that... I had experience playing players who are mid gold or higher in 3v3 so I know kinda what to expect. But then when I would play solo flex like..... I would just get the most random teammates and opponents. So I stopped playing it last season even though I was silver 1 like 50 lp because my buddies stopped playing it and I just couldn't handle the random teammates. One game you would free win because you had players who had played 3v3 before, the next you would have a dude who has never played the mode and just basically auto lose.

Anyways... so today I decide to say fuck it.... I'll play 1 solo. The game was 1 of the easiest 3v3 games of my life.... I was even in I think my silver 2 promos (which usually promos harder at least generally speaking). After game I decide to take a look and both my teammates were bronze 3 & bronze 4 in both solo/duo queue and 3v3 lol. But like... they wrecked enemy team who had 1 bronze dude and 1 unranked. Then it was me and enemy lux who were silver in 3v3 and silver/gold in solo duo.

Idk... I just can't take the mode seriously. Like if I knew I was going to routinely play players like this I would actually try some different champs. But then the next game I could be against like mid plat/diamond solo/duo players who are gold in 3v3 or silver or in placements or w/e. It's just so damn random I just can't get myself to play it. I assume it's just too few people to play it without having crazy queue times.

Its sad, 3v3 is fun but when match making is such a mixed bag and ranking up to your actual elo takes so damn long it's no surprise the game mode is hurting for players. That and Riot never really touches it or promotes it.

I wish 3v3 was actually viewed as like a competitive game mode :( O well. I can't sit through the torture of this queue just to get a possible chroma for victorious skin at the end of the season...................... (if same as last season).
