Triggerseed Proccing During Devour?

Usually, when you devour someone, whatever effect they've got on them is canceled for the time being. CC in general, harmful effects on allies, even things like Sunfire if you happen to devour a tank. I actually don't think there's a single effect that's done anything to me as a Tahm player after I've devoured someone BESIDES triggerseed. Is this intentional?

I'll admit, it was pretty aggravating to swallow a shielded Daisy to get her off my allies, only to have myself and my carry die anyway once Triggerseed procced.
