Can we make support a bit more attractive?

All i have seen support get is a bunch of nerfs Sona , "Reworks" Soraka and useless items item 3504 with the lowest possible gold income. The only reason they don't die first is because their ADC is supposed to be near.

Avoid support items. Because Riot doesn't want other roles to buy the support items they're made too weak. I doubt that would ever change.
