I understand guys, but look most of the us know who were picking, very rarely do people change their first pick.
It's a way to troll and frankly we could make use of that extra time elsewhere like playing the game.
And it's not just 30 seconds. I also pointed out the person I mean. They choose their champ and let the clock run down for no good reason other than to troll.
Let's take it to the extreme
Let's say of 10 people 9 take the full 30 seconds and one selects right away.
That's 270 seconds or 4.5 minutes per game.
I typically play 3 games a night, except recently.
That's 13.5 minutes per night.
I play every day that's 94.5 minutes
At the end of the month that is 378 minutes or 6.3 hours any of us could sit waiting for people to choose their champs.
At the end of the year? 4,536 minutes or 75.6 hours. That is a Max potential of sitting in the champ select screen for three fn days.
None of us need that amount of time to select a champ.
