Riot please consider reducing the time it takes to pick a champ

We don't need 30 seconds or whatever it is to pick a champ. Nothing gets on my nerves more than someone on my team selecting a champ then running the clock down. Life is short. Let's reduce time where we can.

Oh hell to the fucking no. with the change you're suggesting i will not be able to play anymore.

i can run in-game perfectly amazing fps no lag. All is good.

But my client?! Nope. i barely have enough time to lock in my ban and i know who i'm banning i just gotta rush type it in and click ban but client is so slow the clock is at 2 seconds by the time its all over. Editing a rune page? Haaa what a dream i used to do that on the old client ...was pretty helpful. Now though?? i better hope i don't run into a situation i haven't prepped a runepage for or i better kiss having optimal runes goodbye.

The odd time i get to lock in my champions before timer reaches 10 seconds left but that's really rare. Reducing the time would seriously force me to quit till i can afford a better computer. Which is absolutely absurd just to save people 10 seconds. its 10 seconds...Take a breather. Think about how you're gonna play your matchup better or something.

a few seconds.... Cmon. [sg-ahri-1]

Riot don't listen to this impatient person. Hes stupid.

wtf. some people need a bit of time to adjust their runes, buddy.

if anything, then last pick should get 10 seconds extra, because he doesnt have as much time as the other guys to respec his rune setup from the time he picks the champion, to the start of the game.

and no, you cant neccessarily change your rune setup upfront, if you dont know who youre playing or playing against yet.

"These people are actually taking their time to think about what champion they want to play and THEY SHOULDN'T BE ALLOWED TO DO THAT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE"

Look dude. It's only 30 seconds. It's really not that much. It's not the Mesozoic era, you know.

Besides, you can always "Lock In" before the 30 seconds have gone to reduce the time.

I've seen people forgetting to lock in on countless occasions, even when they had a full 30 seconds to do so. Reducing the time even more would just lead to more people forgetting to lock in.

And I'm pretty sure that it is the fewest of people that actually wait the full 30 seconds before they select their champion.

And don't bullshit me with "life is short". Your time isn't more important than anyone elses'. Don't act more entitled than you already are.

I understand guys, but look most of the us know who were picking, very rarely do people change their first pick.

It's a way to troll and frankly we could make use of that extra time elsewhere like playing the game.

And it's not just 30 seconds. I also pointed out the person I mean. They choose their champ and let the clock run down for no good reason other than to troll.

Let's take it to the extreme

Let's say of 10 people 9 take the full 30 seconds and one selects right away.

That's 270 seconds or 4.5 minutes per game. I typically play 3 games a night, except recently. That's 13.5 minutes per night. I play every day that's 94.5 minutes At the end of the month that is 378 minutes or 6.3 hours any of us could sit waiting for people to choose their champs. At the end of the year? 4,536 minutes or 75.6 hours. That is a Max potential of sitting in the champ select screen for three fn days.

None of us need that amount of time to select a champ.

We have 140 champion picks to consider. It's a strategy game. You can wait for your teammates to make their decision on how best to contribute to the team. Not everyone is a one trick who just locks in Yasuo every game.

League is a rather time consuming game, I think that few extra minutes won't hurt much.

Even a 5 second reduction saves a boat load of time, but if I were king of the universe, I'd set it to 10 seconds per player
