@Riot Please explain to me what more I have to do to get an S

EDIT: To everyone saying my cs is why i didnt get an S... shaco only had 2 more cs than me and he got an S :( AND i did way more damage, had 2 less deaths, and more kills than him. There is no way 2 cs makes the difference against all of that....

3 of my teammates got S's... I did not :(

I'm sincerely asking... what more do I have to do?

Your farm sucks. CS is massively weighted in mastery grades; the only thing that seems to be weighted heavier is deaths. 2/0 with 200 CS at 22 minutes is almost a guaranteed S. Xerath is a very farm heavy champ too, so his average CS is going to be very high. 122 at 25 minutes is definitely way below average, even in silver.

i recently saw a 2/1/3 orianna who got 200 cs in 22:32 i.e. 8.88 cs/min, she didn't get s. it's kda 5 btw, she also killed 3 towers...

but then, i saw a tryndamere with 9-10 cs/min who got s with the same 2/0 or 2/1 or so score...

i don't exactly understand what kda is 2/0 because one cannot divide by 0

I see your point but that would mean people bronze never get S's ever? Cuz i gurantee they never hit 200 cs in 20 mins.

they do sometimes. tryndamere whom i mentioned earlier was bronze

but you don't really need 9-10 cs/min, you can get away with 6 cs/min

It's based on the average of people in your MMR range. Frankly, I find it odd you didn't get an S with something like this in Silver 4. The only explanation I can think of is that your CS is way below average for your elo.

i believe it is not related to your mmr, it's universal through the mmr range

that's why diamonds etc get s more often than the rest

i'm telling from my experience, it's limited since i play only for two months after a long hiatus from before the masteries were introduced, i mostly play mid as ahri, sometimes lux and other mages, to get s on ahri or lux i think every time i had to hit 6 cs/min or so and to have a good kda, kill participation and stuff

for instance this is my last s, even s+ http://matchhistory.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/#match-details/EUW1/2978391217/40508454?tab=overview

i was surprised it was s+ since i didn't expect even a simple s-, it's 7/0/4, 6.15 cs/min and also i killed 4 towers and an inhibitor (it might matter)

yes, but afaik requirements depend on the role and the champion

so you don't need that high cs as a jungler than as a mid, and support can get s with almost no cs at all

also playing champions in their off-meta roles can be an easy way to get s, for instance if you play a support heimer or nidalee well it's an easy s on a good game

Ummm Just played a support Morde game with 104 cs at the 21:43 minute mark... your cs is awful...

allied adc 146, enemy top 135 ally top 154 ally mid 127

So as support I had almost as much cs as everyone else in the game. Yes, I pulled them out of thin air....

But shaco only had 2 more cs than me and he got an S.

On top of that, his total kill participation was 14. Mine was 24. I had less deaths than him, more kills, way more assists, and more damage than him. He had 2 cs on me thats it... and he got an S.

so you played a "support" who took 100cs at 20 minutes and then you wonder why your adc/mid/top had such a low cs. really, what a surprise

and obviously you got s, almost any good game on an off-meta support will be an s, because you are compared against other support mordekaizers and those are mostly terrible, you don't to steal that much farm for it

Ummm, noone was low on farm, jungler and adc got S ranks too... There are a lot of minion waves that people just let hit the tower, and some of that was relic shield share, and jungle creeps.

Also, while you are busy bitching about me taking cs, did I mention I also did second most damage to champs in the game, second only to our jungle kha... If you want to complain about me getting cs that noone else was taking, and carrying my team, feel free. Meanwhile, I'ma keep winning however I can.

Honestly if I could have 100% winrate by afking for the first 20 minutes I would. Winning is Winning. I never once complained about low cs on my team. I was comparing his cs to mine, and my teams in a similar duration game.

you need 6+ cs/minute to get an s

and for s+ i think its 7+ /m

its not measured against your own teammates or the enemy scores of that game.

I mean you can still compare yourself to them since they are getting graded too. He got an S and I didn't. So obviously I can compare myself to see why he did and I didn't.

Your team's CS in regards to ranks don't matter; only yours. Please don't complain about this if you don't have at least 60-70 CS per 10 minutes.
