Sion scales infinitely with tankiness

Too bad that item 3153 item 3151 Amumu Brand DrMundo Elise Fiora Fizz Garen Gnar Gragas Jayce Kalista KogMaw Malzahar Maokai Mordekaiser Nasus Poppy Sejuani Shyvana Singed TahmKench Trundle Varus Vayne Vi Warwick Zac have %health in their kits and completely negate that. (I might have missed some) Feels great to have lots of HP right?

I think it's bullshit, % health should be a very unique feature specific to a handful of specialized antitank champions (like I'm fine with KogMaw Malzahar Trundle because it's their job and they compensate with very low mobility). It might be ok to have it on a longish cooldown spell on a tank champion so that he deals more than 0 damage to another tank. But shit like Botrk, with huge %health on-hit? Shit like true damage %health? No, that's just ridiculous.

Remove it or put a cap. Poppy has a cap on her Q %health, why does nearly nobody else have one too? And it'd only really affect huge meat tanks with little resists (that'd get melted anyway)/ Sion because he scales infinitely

Wait a second Malzahar is an anti tank champ? Damn I thought locking down anything you could kill or completely nulling the existence of a champ was his role. I have been playing him wrong all this time. ;p

And since when does Jayce have anti tank. All he has is an armor shred and melee % hp in his kit on a long CD while being built squishy.

Not sure if you realize how many of those champs don't build pen for their numbers so that their actual damage is much lower than you make it out to be. % damage isn't a scary thing. It's scary on things that constantly apply it with no downside.

Well, his null zone has %hp damage, so coupling that with Liandries can shred alright. A tank ain't a tank without spells, so silencing temporarily makes them a non factor, even if for a brief moment

well the reason for poppy having a cap is because if it did not her damage would almost one shot a tank with 4k health. If you don't believe me then pull up the math for her q, I am sure you will be surprised.

Just did the math for it, the capped damage is 275, and 8% of 4000 is 320. That's literally just 45 extra damage from not having a cap on the 8% health

I don't like your logic. It's flawless, but I don't like it. Therefore, I will needlessly down-vote a completely valid comment. -Game-play and Balance Forum (I upvoted) EDIT: When I posted, the comment above was -2, if that helps with context.

Did you include the scaling of her ability? Both the AP and AD scaling?

The cap doesn't affect the AP and AD scaling. Only the Percent Health damage. So yeah, it literally only does 45 extra damage to a 4000 health target if the percent health isn't capped.
