Can we have "support only" role option?

Right now the role selection system is quite broken(bugged). It does the following thongs which shouldn't be done:

put support player in non-support role and force non-support player into support by autofilling them.
putting more than 1 support primary players in one team.
putting more than 1 autofilled player in one team.

if the autofill algorithum is too broken to be fixed quickly, can we just get a "support only" option in role selecion so we can fix problem 1 and 2 as well as help fixing problem 3?

I wonder if the system takes your most preferred roles into account when autofilling players.

There are some people who are just absolutely garbage at a role they get autofilled at

now I understand all those threads complaining about autofilled being mandatory...

Having someone join your game being autofilled into a role they're absolutely dog shit at is extremely unfair.

I hate to be the one complaining this time. But what a fucking stupid idea. To have autofilled to be forced frequently.

I got autofilled MID once. I played Lux, AFK wavecleared and let myself get carried, but boy was it a hard game.

Nope, that happened to me twice.

Or it was a bug, because on my 3rd game someone mentioned being autofilled Jungle during that time too.

You got Jungle as well, bug? coincidence? idk

Autofill isn't directly aimed towards support, support just happens to be a role that needs to be filled most of the times when queueing in lower mmr.

That has happened to me as a support main more than a few times. Time to learn how to jungle and carry I suppose. :p

I could see this being implemented. They can have support kind of act like the "fill" option. When you pick Support first, it can be the only role showing at first, and there can be a little + button or something next to it so players still have the option of choosing a 2nd role, but default will be support only.

Is that more or less what you mean?

The fill choice is pointless since the game is already autofilling. The game shouldn't force you to play the role you don't want. That's our job as a community to try these new roles ourselves. The better solution is to make those underrated roles more appealing to play as and have that appealing trait last as long as the overrated roles. Make or rework champions that occupy that underrated role so they would be more appealing to the players.

Support main here. I've had the pleasure of being auto-filled into jungle (having queued as support primary) - only to have the person in support (who had queued for other positions) not ward, not protect the adc and generally make a mess of the position. Bug maybe?
