My OP.GG says my MMR is approximately 1,317, which is that of Silver III. I actually skipped the Silver III division entirely, and am almost Silver I. I get about 30 LP per game.
How accurate is OP.GG? It seems as though if my MMR is Silver III, it would cut my LP gains to below 20 to try and lower me back down. I'm kind of confused as to how this works,...I haven't played ranked before.
NoMonku1 votesIf you are winning that much LP, it means you haven't played that many game yet imo. Also the system thinks you should be higher then where you are currently placed, so you skipping a division is possible. When your MMR is at your "ideal" level is when you start getting gain/loss of LP equally. I'm assuming you aren't winning 30 and losing 30, so until you hit a ratio where its 1:1 or close to it, you aren't close to your ideal MMR. Keep playing more games and you will even out eventually.
