Just played a horrible game with Cassiopeia after my one trick, Vladimir, was banned, I do not think this was not an accurate assessment of my personal skill because I had no other option. I think your most played champion should have ban immunity.

Either branch out to deal with these situations, or pray they don't happen that often.

Riot would only ban if you did a really toxic move like /mute all vlad jg with ghost smite and spending all game duo top just because cass was banned.
One tricks don't need anymore ban immunity than they already have, its how they react after they don't get their one trick, simply sucking mechanically on a different champ is no different than somebody just sucking in general, its not like you're intentionally losing the game
