Is having 180 CS at 20 minutes and 190 CS at 30 minutes, because you can't CS once your team starts grouping due to having no usable wave clear and relying on shuriken for a total of 1 CS on each wave, then falling into irrelevance because you have no income.

Can we fix this problem?

If you're top or mid kennen, split push for cs, teleport for team fight. If you're adc kennen then farm at side lane before team fighting. If you're support kennen then you shouldn't worry too much over cs. If you're junglar kennen...just clear camps when your team isn't team fighting.
