I fee like hybrid damage users were completely forgotten when they made this champ. Anyways, is it possible that more item upgrades will be added in the future? If so what other items would you like to see get an upgrade?

Imagine if

got a hold of these (Granted they can only pick ONE, thankfully), they'd be able to Burst you even faster or even augment their ability to Solo Objectives such as Elder Dragon or Baron Nashor.
As for Assassin Items, some of these Items are being favored on AD Carries & they currently have a few options for themselves such as:
(Trinity Fusion & Obsidian Cleaver being situational picks of course).
Most likely if they did give any of the Lethality items upgrades, it'd most likely be a boost to Lethality amounts & that would be a no-no. It sounds like a good idea for some assassins who are currently strugging, but other champions would most likely find ways to abuse them.

Riot needs to put a gate on these items to prevent people delaying their early builds buying these expensive bonus stats

Actually high ELO math proves that orrns upgrades - which are only a thousand gold a pop - are the most efficient purchase you can make. Once you have your boots, you should definitely be getting that upgrade ASAP.

So you say, but in the event that's true expect riot to do something about it. Ornn's items are meant to strengthen the late game not the early-mid.
