Lower your aggression when your losing a lane. Its been months and I don't get why some players have not adapted to Defensive stat balls being gone and catch up exp removal. Look snowballing was a thing before these changes got made and its become way more pronounced. Yall really should focus on playing from behind a bit more, sucks to lose lane but its not the end of the world. Just play it smarter, don't try to 1v1 the dude whos already killed you twice in a 1v1 unless you have a real advantage. Its become really important to not throw your teammates to wolfs by misplaying and throwing gold + exp into enemy's already ahead. Learn to lose your lane with grace, and ideally make some comebacks by narrowing the gold gap and working with teammates to recover.

This doesn't apply to you? Good job, but uh... I'm pretty shure you have experienced teammates who need to hear this ja?

Well, my 2cents. Bring on the down votes and complete lack of communication.[sg-kiko]

Lower your aggression?

LMAO

You die once in lane and your turret is now diagnosed with terminal cancer.

You can't farm under it.

Turrets are nothing more than termite-infested sign posts that say, Keep Out, but the guy you're laning against is a teen with their daddy's gun and just laughs as they walk right past it to gun you down.

Would it be fair for me to consider you a top main mate?

I used to play top a lot. When farming under turret was possible and I only had to fear dives from jungle like Lee and could ban him and be able to play the game without fear of dying under turret too early.

No, top lane belongs to the tanks now.

Them and those who counter tanks.

It's no place for monkeying around anymore.

My place was at the top.

But I'll just stick to where I truly belong...the jungle.

Jungles got some real impact currently so have some fun. I assume your still rocking Wu. I'm curious if you feel top gets abandoned by teammates when behind? If you get ganked 2 times and die, do you see teammates write that lane off and ignore it? Personally I'm seeing it get abandoned far to often but that experience for me might not be a accurate trend so i would love to get more opinions on this.

Top is just too unstable for my liking. I can get ahead in lane with or without help and then, suddenly, I'm the center of the enemy's attention simply because I managed a couple kills early. Yeah, I can get ahead, but that's not going to make a 2v1 much easier for me.

Then there's the possibility that the enemy gets ahead and you're stuck under turret looking and feeling like the worst player in the game. The enemy mocks you in all chat and your allies insult you (probably also in all chat). You're threatened with reports simply because you were outplayed in one game and the entire game is just absolute misery.

Then there's the possibility of you getting camped. One maybe two ganks later and your lane is gone. You're told to stop building damage and buy armor when you've managed less than half your opponent's farm and you barely have enough gold for cloth armor let alone anything substantial that MIGHT give you some noticeable amount of durability.

And sometimes you get a jungle who actually pays attention to your lane and camps it. Sometimes it turns out good and you and jungle become fast friends. Other times your jungle dives the enemy, dies to the enemy and you're left facing a fed enemy while your own jungle flames you, promises never to gank your lane again, and leaves you to suffer the consequences of their bad play.

...

I absolutely hate top lane anymore.

First time I got out of bronze was because I won nearly 20 games in a row playing only top. But that was two years ago.

Edit: I remember posting an identical post to this one last season, lmao.

You want people to play better, and adapt to their situations instead of blaming the game for their losses?

Get outta town.

You know, that's a really nice condensed way I could have worded things. Also kudos to who ever down voted the guy with no comment as your meeting my expectations.

There might be some truth to this if you could farm under tower. Nowadays, that'll get you killed, followed by the tower itself as you die or get chased off.

There are concrete game design problems/decisions that led to this state of affairs. Those being things like auto-pushing minions, tower first blood, lack of catchup-XP, demolish runes, and more.

Players being aggressive isn't one of those things. While if you feed kills, no doubt, the game will be over faster, that isn't what everyone is talking about. Players didn't magically become more aggressive in the last 3 seasons.

Well, since you asked so nicely.

Your getting it partially, I'm trying to tell folks they need to know when to tone things down due to season changes. They haven't gotten More aggressive, their previous levels of aggression not being adapted to the changes are causing issues. Admittedly this is my theory from my observations of preseason. I did not see this happen in previous seasons its not like people used to do this and just stopped. Just that i feel its now more vital then before to be willing to Adapt to a less punishable playstyle so that one slows the bleed and gives your team additional opportunity's to patch the wound.

Look, I'm a huge feast or fail catastrophically style player, I'm all for the all ins and I love playing opportunistic champions. item 3041 has been my favorite item from season 2 to this day. Towers could use some love but the towers job is not to compensate for a string of misplays that spiral a lane out of control. Aggressions fine, but this season people really need to know how to tone things down and rely/communicate help with teammates to prevent bleeding out fatal amounts of gold and exp. I would love to see towers have the fortification buff extended to 10 min for outer and 15/20 for rest but the fact people are letting their lane fail so rapidly then get to the point their tower does not provide any security to them is a real problem.

A disclaimer i should make, i feel that Top's in a weird spot and its a shame to see so many players treat it like an island when their tops a majority of their front line, just end up seeing a glass cannon comps when melee sololanes fall hella behind in items and levels. I'm not seeing much mid roam top anymore and that makes me a bit sad. I am not a top lane player but map awareness should be a thing for every role.

I'm jaded and have low expectations for post that can be interpreted as a personal attack to random board users.
