Cassiopeia passive suggestions

With all the talk of the possibility of a second gameplay passive to accompany her current passive, I kept thinking of some cool passives that could possibly fit with Cassiopeia.

Deadly Cadence (revised)
Hitting an enemy champion with a spell causes any subsequent spellcasts within 3 seconds to cost 30% less mana. Does not stack.

Now with the ability having to hit the champion, she can't have 50% mana costs at all time just by hitting noxious blast on the ground. This passive could allow her to harass her enemies with twin fang after hitting a noxious blast (both poison and passive last for 3 seconds) without making her go OOM easily in lane

Shed Skin After taking lethal damage, Cassiopeia turns into stone (much like zhonya but like, stone-looking) becoming invulnerable and untargetable for 1.5 seconds, after the duration ends her stone shell explodes, stunning people in a small aoe around her and giving her a shield and 100% bonus movement speed boost that decays over 2 seconds. Has a cooldown.

With Cassiopeia's lack of range and on-demand mobility, this passive will save her when enemies gang up on her or when she is cc-locked and bursted easily as she has to get herself in dangerous range to fight.

Viper's Kiss
Cassiopeia's basic attack throws a venom gorged asp that deals double the auto attack's damage as bonus poison damage over 3 seconds. Has a cooldown.

This passive gives Cass a more reliable way to poison her enemies for twin fang since her poisons are skill shots and she has a difficulty switching targets.

Do you like them? Do you hate them? Tell me what you think.

Here's the only correct suggestion: Revert the entire rework. Anyone who thinks her old passive was badly designed has no idea what they're talking about.

I don't think a death passive would fit Cassiopeia thematically, but if there was one, I would recommend a poison effect rather than petrification. She doesn't have a thematic reason to be able to revive herself, as Aatrox and Anivia do, but she does have a body that is obviously full of hideously dangerous toxins. It would make some physical sense for her corpse to emanate a poison cloud or pool upon death, and the tricky hidden damage could fit her thematically.

I think a Deadly Cadence effect would be nice for mana management, but if it is non-stacking, it would make more sense to simply lower her base mana costs. The poison gating on Twin Fang means that almost all of her spell casting is done after she lands a spell anyway, so a fixed mana reduction in the passive would have almost the same effect as simply lowering the cost of Twin Fang.

As much as I would love to see Cassiopeia roaming around the rift and throwing snakes at people, I don't really think it would fit her character.

About a month ago, the forum-goer Mi Ramfan posted a passive idea that I rather liked, called Toxic Exposure. The basic premise is that enemies poisoned by Cassiopeia accumulate exposure stacks, which cause them to take increased poison damage. There would be a stack limit, and they would decay over time, but it would reward Cass players for keeping their enemies poisoned without giving a sense of being shackled by Aspect of the Serpent. It may also give her lane opponents a little bit of motivation to actually dodge her poison, so she won't be such a push-over in the early game.

Cassiopeia is my mid-laner of choice, and I would love to see her passive changed into something more fun to play with. Good work, and keep up the brainstorming!
