Fighting Fiora

This champ's giving me some problems. See, I gravitate toward slower top laners (Sion, Darius, Gangplank, etc.). I can't exactly get evade her attacks. But whenever people advise, "Just move away from her if the vital is facing her; maneuver if it's on the sides" I feel as if her lunge can still hit those sides and that I have to zone myself from CS and experience if the vital is facing her. And if she does decide to kill me, goes dancing around me hitting every spot as it comes up. Can't build much health or armor against her damage, especially if she gets ahead and I can't go anywhere near her (or worse, she lays in ambush).

I'm at a loss.

Don't know what I can say to help. Learn her weaknesses, play to your strengths. Punish her mistakes and try to reduce the amount you make. Not a top laner myself so I can't offer any specifics.

GP is a super bad match up for her, everything he does, she does better. Sion has a hugely telegraphed CC that she can W and stun you. Darius is typically a skill match up so just make sure you're poking with your W, and like you already said if the vital isn't on your ass, don't engage her.

Umm, charge q and wait until her riposte has ended, then recast. WORKS EVRY TIME.

So, yeah as gp, just play safe and farm under turret, and if you don't feed her, you out scale her HARD. Never try to 1v1 before triforce as gp, EVER.

As sion bait out her riposte and E-Q her. If she has riposte up, charge Q and wait until she finishes riposting. You do more dmg and cc her longer. Most fiords assume he's gonna Q me as soon as it's a stun, so you bait it out, and cc her anyway.

For Darius, don't engage her, when she Qs to you and runs, pull her W aa then Q and chase if she's low ( 35% or less) to dunk her if you got 5 stacks.

I play these guys a lot, and going up against fiora is annoying as fuck, but you learn to deal with her. Ideally you never engage on her; Fioras always engage on you, and you follow up and kill her easy, or at least zone her from cs which she needs to be useful.

When her vital is in a spot you don't want, you can take a few seconds move out of her vision range to force it to reset.
