We will not accept Randuin's Omen reducing Anivia's damage.

I don't mean to take attention away from the other thread (http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/gameplay-balance/QesmyUJj-meddler-randuins-omen-reduces-anivias-damage) , but I want to make it clear to Riot that their decision is stupid and we will not accept it.

Anivia's E has it's damage reduced by Randuin's Omen because it is coded as a critical strike, even though it's** nothing like a critical strike**. It is guaranteed to do double damage if the target is chilled, and guaranteed to do normal damage if not. It's a simple min/max damage ability that is in no way shape or form a critical strike.

To further prove my point, Infinity Edge does not increase the damage of Anivia's E because it's not a critical strike

No matter how negligible this is, it needs to be fixed. Yes, on average it won't make a difference, but if it means the difference between Anivia picking up a kill or not, which it absolutely can, it needs to be changed. An armor item should not give 10% damage reduction to Anivia's most powerful ability in her kit.

Fix this obvious error or expect me to never shut up about this.

I didn't even know this problem existed but I am now furious about it.

I'm only okay with it IF Karthus's Q mono-hit blasts, Soraka's Q center and all other such abilities also are reduced by the same %.

Regardless of whether or not other champions have similar issues, it needs to be fixed for Anivia.

I mean that in all fairness, all abilities i mentioned have magical 'crits' and the new Randuins reduces 'crits' without specifying whether magical or physical. It reducing both actually makes some technical sense. What doesn't is that some other abilities don't get reduced even though they're basically the same as Anivia's 'crit'.

If IE doesn't increase damage, RO shouldn't decrease damage taken.

It's fine by me.
