Janna top!?

I recently gave up on League, this meta just seems so toxic and kill focused that it killed my enjoyment of the game. Just for a joke, I decided to take top one game and got flamed by my teammates for choosing that. But I was surprised to find that it actually works.

Janna has enough kite power to keep most toplaners away from you and you can hold them in lane for a pretty long time. Also, since I play rather passive/defensively in general, my opponent would normally get frustrated and AFK because most League players are so obsessed with kills. Janna has the range to be annoying and the speed to dodge a lot of skillshots.

The only drawback to this is that I'm not the one carrying games, which is fine for me because I don't really want/need to. She can be a powerful pick to keep toplaners in lane, especially if you use their psychology and emotionally manipulate them into chasing you.

It may be pretty dirty but it works for me. Are there any other unconventional top picks to break the stale top lane meta?

I urge people to try it, you may think its stupid but its a hell of a lot of fun, especially if you are a support main and understand her kit and potential.
