A little while back, Riot was testing updates to pathfinding which were expressly designed to fix stuff like creep blocking and derpy movement. The changes are currently iceboxed, meaning they're disabled but will return in the future, and from my experience they made things better, though they still needs some improvements (they still don't fix all creep blocking, and still don't detect really obvious cases where you want to move to a location immediately past a wall because you want to
through the wall over to it, and not go there the long way).
I personally don't understand why Rito wants to keep minion collision, though. The only times where it's noticeable are when its leads to really unpleasant pathing fails, and it seems to serve no purpose of its own. If it's there to balance champions like
or
, and prevent them from bullying lane opponents too hard, then I feel there are better ways to balance those champions than to rely on an archaic collision system, particularly since almost any champion with a gapcloser can sidestep creep block in lane already.
Lol'ed so hard xD
y u no buy PD you scrub?
creep blocking i bad indeed but what i trully hate is when you run along the minion wave walking to the lane
you glitch onto one minion and sssume its (lower) speed
But then what will happen to half of Kassadin's passive :(
