So, the question for me, should I buy swain? How OP is he now that he's been nerfed like 6 patches ago or whatever? He seems legit strong steal, but what do you swain mains have to say? Convince me to buy Swain.
I'm considering Swain, Urgot, Fizz(cause I destroy with Fizz on my other account) and Vayne.
Is the bird the word? Do I have a new home to go to?

Despite his unpopularity, he has an extremely high winrate for those who know what they are doing. If you know what you are doing, it's very hard to lose because of his root, slow, and sustain. You are able to create a good distracting engage into a team fight by being one of the few mages who can literally run through a fight, leaving the adc to just sit back and mash their mouse.

If you like champs like Cho, Galio, Vlad, or Garen that have the common point of at some point in the game being able to just not giving a fuck anymore and slowly waddling towards a very scared opposing team, that's the champ for you. Also, you get to say "whaaargh" and turn into a birb :3 If yo have a few friends, try a comp made of Swain + 4 globals/semiglobals. You just get Swain fed, then have him walk in the enemy jungle, solo the first guy he finds, then Zhonya's while the whole team falls on him and he heals up for free while his team tp's there :D

He has so much more waveclear now, his Q helps you cs (malz style but with an execute) and you can actually splitpush on him, which is good for a durable damage threat like him. Also, pick up Ghost if you didn't already. iz gud
OurLestrade1 votesIndoody, but he still just feels off to me now. He was my go to mage for years and I guess I just wasn't able to meld with the rework. It's hard to explain, you know? That wave clear is juicy, I'll gladly admit that :P (Do sort of miss the instant last hitting Q trick though, makes farming early on that little bit harder)
