Matchmaking adjustment in Team Builder needs to be toned down.
For those of you that don't know, Team builder has a feature called "Matchmaking adjustment". The way it works is that if you're trying a champion or role that you have few Team builder games on, it considers your MMR lower. Great idea in theory, in practice it completely fucks the matchmaking.
Typically when I play a champion that I've gotten over this hump with, I get matched with players ranging from high Bronze to mid gold. When I play a champion with no Team builder games? Literally all Bronze V, with the occasional IV.
It cannot be overstated how fucking terrible these people are, they are easily worse than people I dealt with pre-30. I know I'm not a particularly great player, my CS is mediocre, I tend to lock up mentally, I'm often too cautious to press advantages and take chances. I tilt hard when better players mock me. But these people can barely comprehend the bare fucking basics of how this game works. It completely sucks the fun out of trying new champions to the point where I'd rather just repeatedly spam my mains every game instead of trying anything new.
This cuts both ways, as well. Often times I get players on my level that have no business ever being matched that low. These are typically people who might have had 10+ games with the champ in blind and read countless guides and builds before picking the champ up, but Team Builder doesn't care about any of that shit, it just figures that Mr. Plat should be thrown into games with silvers because he's only played 4 games of Annie mid in Team Builder
