As a Jungler, I feel I lose a lot of presence clearing Golems. Should I even bother?

Due to the time it takes to clear them, and the amount of mana I may have to use.

I tend to play tank Junglers.

Advice appreciated.

.....By Golems I mean Krugs, the ones that split appart, my bad edited

I assume you mean the red and blue golems? Or the ones that break apart?

In either case, play to your comfort level. If you'd rather have more presence in lanes and you think something is slowing you down, I'd suggest skipping past it. Embrace what makes your game work, that's always the best path.

i do krugs just when i have literally nothin to do but farm. rift scuttler is way easier to get and very more important.

I usually don't find it worth the time wasted, because it is out of the way for a red start. Doing it just before backing at the end of a blue start is fine though, if you are healthy enough.

Im not sure if you are aware if this, but the Krugs have a unique interaction compared to most other jungle camps. If you were to kill only the big raptor, all the other little raptors would sit there waiting to die before the camp went on cooldown to respawn. This is not the case with the krugs. As long as you kill the big krug, if you leave, after a few seconds all the rest will despawn and the camp will go on cooldown. You can use this by clearing only the big krug, which has become someone common practice in high elos as far as I am aware.
