Disproportionate Pressure Bottom Lane

I believe the strategy of "Let's all just asspound botlane and take tower so our best objective taker can roam and fuck the rest of the map" is so consistently strong that it is rarely correct to deviate from it.

This really detracts from the strategic depth of the game in my opinion. Of course it's a multifaceted issue, it didn't help they included changes that facilitate snowballing, but there just isn't enough value top lane*.

*Unless you have an aids champion like Tryndamere who can take rift herald and proceed to never leave lane again.

no matter what im going to gank bot lane first based on the fact that youre worth so much gold in kills and assists. the first blood turret gives me more for executing a good gank, in return for losing the other half of my jungle.

Ganking bottom lane not only puts three people ahead instead of two, it has a higher chance of letting you take tower because there are three of you and one is the best sieging role in the game.

Add to that dragon pressure and you now have three people plus two global advantages from ganking one lane. Top lane, you have rift herald mid game and baron late game, but the game could very well be decided by then.
