Because every match where I'm doing good enough to get one, the enemy surrenders before I've done enough to actually get it.
Almost Every. Time.
I hated surrendering before mastery grades and chest were a thing, but with this it's even worse.
If you won't remove surrendering, at least adjust mastery grading to better account for it.
venomous frost1 votesfun fact: game time does not affect your grade, if you lose at the 20 minute mark, it was because a lot more people made the enemy surrender aswell, while performing way better on said champion.

Surrender-hatred aside, that's basically what I'm saying they should do, but I really feel like that's not how it works, and I'm being compared with the matches that were 50 minute carries.
(The contradiction in your post would be that if this is how it works than it should be said that game time DOES affect grade, whereas if I'm still compared to everyone thats when you'd say it doesn't. To clarify my own confusion.)

so if they surrender at 20, you will be compared to every game that was a stomp. if you didn't stomp them hard enough, you won't get an S
there are probably a lot of people going stuff like 15-0 with crazy objectives in stomps, and you didn't stomp hard enough yourself.
if you're wondering why comparing to every elo is fair, it's because even though you aren't as skilled as a diamond player, you opponent's aren't either, so it's easier for you to make plays aswell.
