You had a lot of kill participation. Great. What did you do for them otherwise?

I hope I can show u the replay =(

Doing all that work and only getting an A is demoralizing to say the least

Did you help with objectives and warding? Because those two have a bigger impact than KDA. I had a game where I went 1-8-5 and got an A- because I warded and had participation in almost every objective taken other than one dragon.

Tahm is the walking ward... i facecheck brushes for teammates... put down wards when i could. Srsly a rating system based on warding would be inaccurate at best.

How do they define participation in a fight for dragon? Tahm does not much damage to dragon- I was standing on the perimeter guarding my teammates.

Participation = dealing damage or healing allies doing the damage

The rating system being based partially on warding is anything but inaccurate. Vision is a huge part of this game.

Yes. "Timely" vision is important. Ward position at whichever stage of the game is important.

Quantity of wards, however, is arguable. Quality... not quantity.

Wards, objectiveparcitipation, cleared wards, even lasthits count on that. You can have 30-0 and have 0 cs as midlane akali and wont get a S probably.

I did intentionally gave away some cs to teammates later in the game. Tahm doesn't need a lot of cs. I got almost full items in the end. 5 1/2 items. I gave away the cs for the team.

Question: Did you play against a team/player in your opposite role with higher MMR or lower? Is there a way to tell?

I ask because its a possibility (and this is just a guess), that mastery score could be influenced by MMR. Think about it, its easier to do well against a bad opponent then it is against a good opponent, so there is the possibility that your teams MMR gets compared to your opponents team MMR in order to influence your mastery score and thus your grade. Or maybe your personal MMR gets compared to the MMR of the person playing your role's opposite. Or both.

So even if you played really well, your score and grade are perhaps diminished because you fought opponents below your skill level?
