"Just dodge zoe e"
Well I can't do that when it gets a free protobelt from its casino w and uses it to land a point blank e on me with its ridiculous hitbox. Just remove it from the game.

Protobelt is short ranged, forces a delay between spellcasts, and E itself has a delay between cast and firing the ability.
Eh... at least league put zoe in the game and not this. https://img00.deviantart.net/188b/i/2017/359/1/4/final_fantasy_xii___yiazmat_by_soulstryder210-dbxtzj1.jpg

Still remember him in my first PS2 run .... went totally umpreparred and took me around 9-10h, the sad part it's that he is not that hard just hella boring due to the chunk of HP
Part of play in any situation is positioning and situational awareness. Zoe just sometimes requires more than other opponents. If she's in a position where she can pop in and drop a point blank E on you, you have to be ready for that and maneuver accordingly. "Dodge before she strikes," as it were.
Failing that, buy

Well that means I have to zone my self off the wave all because my opponents got lucky with their rng. The w is the problem.
And sometimes you need to zone yourself off the wave because the enemy is teemo. Top laners have learned to give up CS as needed, you can too.

Except this time it's based off of rng.
Not really. Zoe has to last hit the minion to get it to drop, then you can contest her over said drop. You failing to deal with her before she gets it is on you.

Then it lands an easy e on me and then I lose 2/3 of my hp.
You act like zoe is a god and youre incapable of both moving and standing opposite minions. Yeah, she could land E on you. If you play poorly. With that argument literally any other midlaner could land their CC on you easier and get the same damage off.
True enough, but other champions can do that. Darius, Cass, Yasuo, AP Morg, Blitz... The list goes on regarding champions that have the ability to bully a lane. Picking a champion that forces your opponents to stay under turret is a legitimate play style as well.
More importantly, I didn't necessarily mean to stay back and never be involved in the lane. I meant to be aware of her ability to jump on you and keep yourself positioned in a way that makes it difficult or risky for her. I'm not really sure how to word this apart from "be ready and watch your position", but I've never had a ton of trouble with Zoe myself, so I know it's possible to keep her W from completely dominating a lane.
Then again, I don't run Flash so instances of her getting Flash are minimal for me anyway.
She just got nerfed, by the way.
so erm... Ur complaining about something largely dealing with the W.. yet blame the E? The E has counterplay.. dodge it, take cleanse, use the drowsy time to reposition behind minions/allies, buy qss, ask ur support to buy mikael's/the other cleanse item (or buy it urself). The hitbox isn't that big, look at Zoe, the casting animation is quite blatant and long.
Now if we were taling about the W.. it just got nerfed. Personally, i'd've hit the movespeed buff it gets late game, and also make the summoner spells and items she gets a bit weaker than the actual versions.
"zOe HaS CoUNtErPLaY just take
buy
and play
"
The problem isn't the speed it travels, it's how long the trap stays after the bubble lands. It's ridiculous if you ask me, it just sits there and creates a 'no step' zone and anyone who doesn't respect it gets chunked/one-shot.
Well, no, actually you're still quite capable of moving away from her. If you play a champion with no mobility whatsoever, then you recognize that you need to be weary of champions with dashes/blinks.
It doesn't matter which champion it is, or even if it's your lane opponent. You need to be aware that there exist characters with dashes/blinks.
It's pretty hard to dodge a large hitbox when it's cast from right next to you because the champion has a spammable teleport.

At least Zoe's uses mana. Zed's level of "broken" is an entirely different topic that I would probably agree with you all day on.
