Why can yasuo get a free shield passive reset after ult and not malphite :O ?

Because Malphite’s shield is indirectly tied into his damage, and keeping it up is skill expression.

Because they're different champions with different requirements. Malphite won't take a lot of damage when ulting right into the enemy team, Yasuo will.

Malph is a bruiser that dives into the team. He builds tanky. Yas on the other hand is a melee essentially adc who is heavily incentivized to build squishy, whos ult is also a self suppression.

because malphite isn't a overloaded CT champ, redefining what champ balance even is. Duhhh.
