Its not a secret that redemption is a bit overtuned. Redemption is kind of the replacement for Locket in the sense that its the item that almost every supports rushes because its so good. What it provides for such little cost is a bit too strong.
Any plans on nerfs for the item?

HazyCloud72 votesThe only reason it isn't getting more attention is because a lot of people will just dogpile on anybody who dares to criticize a support item.
Hopefully when the competitive season starts and we see 4 redemptions each game being built by the Jungle/Support on each team riot will take notice.
I don't even care about the true damage or the fact that it's usable when dead (although that kind of throws good positioning out the window), the issue is that the heal is so ridiculously high. Especially when paired with windspeaker's blessing and all of the other healing/shielding power items.
