Ironic that a top lane main that plays brain dead champions like maokai, gragas, etc says this.

yet none of them have point and click 2.5 second suppression ults. also, GP is my most played champ this season by far with over 100 games. more than double the next highest. I haven't played Maokai consistently since his last set of nerfs. Gragas at least has fuckin skill shots lmao

putting into further context for this specific post. I hate Malzahar so fucking much for how he used to be prior to rework. he was as brainless as it gets in lane. free kill lvl 6 no matter what with R, aids and ignite. the most bullshit champ to lane against. he killed you on his terms or pushed you under your turret with voidling push/aids spam while getting mana back. this malzahar now doesn't really bother me but that's probably only because i don't play botlane where he now takes his "skill".

He's immobile during the ultimate, and you can easily cc him. Plus he's close ranged as well. He's only good in 1v1 match ups. Blame your lack of strategy not the champion.

hence why I said he's bullshit in lane with his voidling+Aids push and gets a freebie kill on you at lvl 6 no matter what. (old Malzahar). and he literally takes zero skill to get a kill with. takes are braindead sure, but at least they aren't 100-0 you with point and click "skills"

I don't know what tanks you play but Gragas, Darius, and even Maokai to an extent can do tons of a damage. All whilst being tanky.

Darius is an immobile juggernaut. juggernauts are supposed to do damage, supposed to be tanky but lack in mobility, utility and CC. Full tank Gragas can not one shot with a rotation of spells like old Malzahar used to be able to do EASILY. no comparison. Gragas and Maokai build a lot of CD so they can get their spells off more and since they have % max health damage their numbers stay relevant even into late game. once again though, they cannot one shot with a single rotation of spells if they are full tank. not even close. malzahar pre-rework could get a free kill as soon as he hit lvl 6 with a full rotation of spells and ignite. hell you didn't even have to put the pool underneath the target and you'd still get a kill.

Malazhar is also immobile and close ranged so your point being? And near full tank darius can still do tons of damage.

you can run/flash away from Darius in a 1v1 setting. Malzahar just locks you down and kills you.
