Who remembers Aurelion Sol?

You know this guy ----> <----- because I almost don't.

When I first looked at Sol during his reveal and at his info on the PBE, I was getting pumped. He was a space dragon that could control the creation of stars and was our long awaited Ao Shin. Who wouldn't get excited for that? When he hit live I just played him as much as I could and (though I sucked) I had fun. Now he feels almost like a forgotten relic, rarely or never being seen in any games that I play.

Now this can be due to the meta and insane damage that we have at the moment but you also have to think about his gameplay. His entire kit revolves around positioning and his orbs, to which if you're not a main of him and don't know what you're doing you're gonna have a bad time. On top of this, it jsut feels punishing when you get this wron- ok I guess you should be punished for playing out of position or playing wrongly, but with Sol it feels heavily punishing. Someone gets inside your ring of orbs to your face? Good luck cause you can't double activate your Q like Anivia. Get hit with hard CC? Orbs are gone and thus most of your damage, leaving roughly your ult to push them back if you don't die yet.

The point I'm trying to make is Aurelion just doesn't feel like he fits into anything at the moment. And before anyone brings it up, I'm fully aware that they're thinking of doing some mini-rework with him and I'm really happy about that. I like Sol. He's got a awesome theme, gorgeous appearance, and his personality is one of my, if not absolute, favorite in the entire game. It just sucks that he's never played and extremely difficult to play as.
