If you're going to keep Shield Bash in, put it in the third section of Resolve

Not every tank or other resolve-speccing champion has access to an on-demand shield without ruining their summoner spells, and being forced to pick between Demolish, a support rune, and a shield specific rune is a 0/3 viable choices for these champions.

If Shield Bash were in the third section in place of Chrysalis it would allow a full tank to spec into full tank runes (Bone Plating, Conditioning/Second Wind/Shield Bash, Overgrowth) while still allowing bruisers access to their picks (Demolish+Shield Bash for some, Demolish+Second Wind for those without shields)

Demolish is a perfectly fine choice for tanks, I don't understand why so many people claim that tanks wouldn't have a rune in that slot. Turret damage is always useful.

I honestly think this was intentional so that tanks won't be getting TOO much out of rune optimization. I'm saying this as a tank main, btw, so this isn't me circlejerking against tanks

Tanks are already losing out on a lot of Health per level (from the perspective of both resolve/inspiration and a resolve split) and have been in the dumpster for quite a while unless they're named Sion or are a counter to a very specific meta like Poppy or Galio.

Yeah...but honestly, the answer isn't even buffing tanks anymore. It's nerfing all of the shit that's way out of line

They don’t want people overloading on the defensive runes. Resolve isn’t just a defense tree, it’s a tree that utilizes defenses in offensive ways as well.
