Please riot, i want to play my fav player without receiving toxic comments.

This post is about teemo and solely about him. If you hate him please don't forget to leave a meme :D

In this patch 2 items (duskblade + edge of night) got slight buffs while gunblade received a nerf. The 2 items that got buffed counter teemo and gunblade, his only sustain, got nerfed. Duskblade + oracles means goodbye to his mushrooms while edge of night means bye to "blind". Both of them together means goodbye to teemo. I just can't play the guy without someone saying something wrong i.e. " teemo is useless".

Most of you probably don't know, as even teemo mains struggle to know, that his kit is incredibly versatile (in a bad way) as i see every teemo (even lvl 7 one's) build pure freaking AP build. Please don't do it because killing squishes with mushroom is only a meme now and so much of your damage will be wasted in your kit.

So while riot is trying to balance the game through means of nerfing/buffing items they probably are hurting/buffing teemo unintentionally because teemo relies on so many items. Although this patch he got a big overall nerf together with changes to oracles/wards in the past. Making it even worse, marksman (that teemo was specifically able to eliminate because of his blind) got buffs in the last patch. Now with gunblade active receiving a nerf that just means it will be even harder to assasinate marksman. Mages can probably burst teemo faster than vice versa as blind doesn't negate spell damage. Gunblade does deserve a nerf but teemo doesn't so while riot buffed akali for that reason why not consider teemo as he has been hit by 3 items as i stated above.

Another thing that became common are use of oracles. Before they were used to counter teemo and not many were aware of it however now oracles are used to get rid of enemy vision and hence teemo's mushroom automatically suffers alongside. Even if you don't have teemo in the game someone will still use oracles in the enemy team (usually jungler).

Mallet received a nerf a while back which hurt teemo but mallet teemo is only for laning to kite but that makes him pretty much useless outside lane as teemo is not meant to chase outside lane rather he is to be chased. Outside lane teemo needs burst ( he is an assasin) otherwise he is absolutely dependent on team mates which is not a good thing for a top laner at all! Tbh i don't even know what role he plays now, he definitely doesn't fit an assassin role.

if teemo builds AD his mushrooms are literally useless and i mean literally. If he builds full AP he will definitely will lose the lane as only visage or maw is needed to basically negate most of the mushroom damage and he will be squishy af considering how fkn strong top laners are currently. If he goes hybrid he becomes very dependent on team mates because he can't burst squishes so team mates will have to use his passive to make a fight 2v1.

I have been watching a particular teemo on youtube who is by far the best teemo i have seen. He knows teemo's kit inside out and that's no joke because teemo can have multiples and i mean dozens of builds compared to other champs. He has won matches against syndra (mid lane) and many other champs but i see him making little to no influence outside lane. Tbh he would prefer to just push top lane all day long because in team fights teemo has little to no use. He needs to be close in range to do something but CC counters him bad plus he has no CC in his kit; he is squishy and excels in slow DOT damage which doesn't happen in team fights.

His winrate is actually decent but look at his playrate and banrate together which will show that he is dying. One big factor for his winrate is his dedicated playerbase which riot has been upsetting for a long time. He was once viable in low elo's who didnt know how to counter him but that's a thing in the past.

It wouldn't be frustrating if riot didn't give other champs small tweaks because right now teemo is in need of a VGU i believe. If they have other champs that are more in need than atleast tweak this guy now and then so teemo mains have a reason to play. I am fed up of people saying that he is cancer but they just forget that they picked a meele that has no gap closer against teemo. What do you expect? Opponents like quinn, jayce, poppy, yasuo and swain will bring you and your team down while you just have to tolerate teemo's harassment for few minutes in lane. Even yorick and urgot ( rarely played) counter teemo. Champs like irelia, nasus have sustain to use against him and are very very strong late game. Champs like fiora (beast late game), jax, renekton can actually make life hard for teemo instead of the other way around and still be beast outside lane. The only champs commonly played that teemo annihilates are riven, garen, trynda and maybe more but other than that i do not think teemo is as much of a cancer as people complain about. Even riot agreed few patches before that teemo is not as strong as much as he is hated.

This post had to be long because if i just said "buff" him everyone will be like " he is fkn cancer" , " he can die" , " delete him please riot" and etc. I assure you that no one will bring anything to the table to offer reasons to nerf or not to buff him because they simply can't.
