I don't know why people keep asking for this every season. It doesn't help anyone who isn't already below the average elo of 1200. As a G1 player i find it very boring to play against lower elo players simply because it is just too easy. Similarly i find it very hard to believe that a B3 player will enjoy playing against a bunch of gold+ players in their provisionals. If a player is already playing at a level higher than the average elo than they will have no trouble climbing after a few weeks into the ranked season, and if a player is playing below the average they will either fall or simply not play in order to keep their silver border. OP is P4, and in my experience playing against low plats in ranked games very few of them deserve to be in the Gold elo and even fewer deserve to be in the diamond elo. Although I've never played against a diamond in ranked I have seen them play and can tell that there is a noticeable skill difference between the low plat and low diamond elo. A hard reset will only affect lower elos and purchased accounts and will make the ranking up system of league a bit more grindy for those who are already above the average rating. Having a bunch of golds playing against of bronze players is just unfair to the bronze players and a Gold losing because their team is all b3 when the enemy team is mid to high silver is also infun. A hard reset is not the way to fix the ranked system, it will only ruin matchmaking for several weeks to a couple of months.
