I am not sure why Shen has AP scalings.

Like, I know the logic behind scalings on tanks in general so they can get a RoA, an abyssal, and all the other semi-defensive AP items without having to waste gold for a useless stat.

HOWEVER: Shen literally can't use most of the defensive items with AP anyways, as he A) doesn't use mana, making a (he'd really like the active tho) bad on him. and B) he ALSO cannot use the special effects of and as he only has one spell that can apply the effects, and that is his taunt. And with these items out of the question, that's pretty much the core of most ap-offtanks gone.

At the same time he just doesn't have the relevant base-values to go for an AP build with nashors and and gunblade or something - he'd instantly die in a fight, his only benefit beign one gigantic ultimate-shield. (Seriously, I did full AP shen once. You never have to fear that your carry dies because lol see that shield?)

So maybe change the scalings into AD or HP, or maybe even scalings of resistances. I don't care, but make it scale with something that I actually want to build on my purple ninja! Either that or make his Q apply spell-effects, then I could at least buy the ones I listed under B).
