you know damn well that 90% of the playerbase is not cooperated enough to save their cc for when katarina comes in to literally kill your entire team whether she is fed or not. And being you even have to do that should be evidence enough.

I play Katarina. And her lane phase is shit. But you know what? Doesn't matter. I can sit in lane and watch my enemy out farm me and watch the enemy jungler make mean faces at me from the river bush daring me to over extend. That's all fine. 15 to 20 Mins in I can be a whole item behind and I'm fine. You know what I'm not even gonna roam bot, no wards. I'm alright with all of this.
Because if I'm patient enough, and pay attention, and PATIENCE ............ I'll EWRFQEW for a Double/Triple kill. Katarina is a champion that punishes you for making mistakes. Katarina teaches your team not to make mistakes, because she immediately punishes you. It's like being verbally abusive in a game and after the match you get an Instant Message from a Riot Employee and they you transcripts and say "Hey, you just acted like an ass. We don't like that. You think you can behave? "
Katarina punishes your team for not warding. She punishes your team for blowing all your CC on Irelia or Leona (lol) She punishes your team for grouping up. She punishes your ADC for poor positioning. She exploits your Support's lack of willingness to take responsibility for their role. She punishes your Jungler for letting her get ahead. She punishes you for not Banning her when you weren't willing to bring a champ mid yourself with CC and the ability to withstand moe then a dove's fart before passing out.
But Katarina is not broken nor is she imbalanced. She is an assassin, and she performs her role exceptionally well under the right circumstances, and to be honest does nothing more then occasional Bouncing Daggers when she's behind and denied the opportunity to assassinate. The reason behind the toxicity concerning Katarina has nothing to do with the champ itself. Katarina highlights an existing problem withing the COMMUNITY and the fact that random PUGs (pick up groups) lack the capacity to cooperate with each other.
If 5 people woke up locked in a room with 3 bats a med kit and an inflatable doll, you're probably in some weird Saw senario where you are presented with the senario of work together and live or ...... fight amongst yourselves and die. Every game of League of Legends is an exercise in strangers ability to over come differences and over look ego and pride to accomplish a goal that is productive towards everyone's well being.
You got a problem with Katarina? Sounds like you got a problem your team. There is no No CC Bro? Or Git Good Dude. The true solution is as long as you did your role in the game it's ok to lose to Katarina It's the people that continue to blame the champ and not themselves that Katarina will continue to curb stomp the faces of team's that are not willing to work together. That is all.
