Because you literally just stack a single type of champion design, which riot fails to actually introduce sufficient counters and/or fails to nerf appropriately.

Mobile, Burst, AD fighters. Call zed what you will, it doesn't change the actual design of his kit. There are very very few example of AP building champions dealing consistent damage and the only one that i can think of is left in the dumpster because of how powerful he is when he isn't.

So i really don't see why these champions being given damage pattern opposite of their offensive stat's innate burst pattern and built-in defensive tools is not considered equally problematic by riot.

...This isn't a viable team unless 1) they snowball or 2)they wombo with Riven + Yasuo.

Otherwise they lose to a normal team with mages and tanks.

Those arent single type of champion design. Zed is champion that goes in , burst target down and goes out, he doesnt have consistent damage and is extremely squishy, one CC and he is dead. Riven is bruiser. She stays in the fight. She is beefy. Both her and Zed are weak against high armored champions early, mid and late game. Yasuo is skirmisher. He is mix between assassin and bruiser. He has damage and mobility but he is squishy as hell.

Erh, Riven's a skirmisher/assassin hybrid based on how she builds.
