But no. For real. I’ve been saying assassins are broken out their asses for weeks now. And they are not hard to play. They’ve never been hard to play. Using akali as an example. If you have 4 different fucking escapes, you are not a hard champion to play.

Riven and irelia are tier 1 top lane on that site, guess they are 100% no skill too

And out of the 4 "tier 1" mid laners, 2 are mages and 1 is Kassadin who isnt a real assassin xd

Yes, they are no skill. Just because they're flashy doesn't mean they take skill. Flash and button mashing =/= skill.

Kassadin can blow people up faster than any of the other assassins so I'm not sure what a "real" assassin is then.

No. The problem with Riven is despite her still having these extremely hard to execute on mechanics in place, those mechanics are currently not required to win lane. You can get by on the bare minimum of remembering to auto between spell casts. The champ is vile and has needed to be addressed for a long time.

Agreed it does not take skill to brute force with riven by just mashing q with an auto attack is more effective than other champs. Then she gets spear and then there is no skill involved on that champ. She can hit r and go to town with all the cdr.

Riven in her current state doesn't take much skill to play and her playrate + winrate supports the claim lol. In no world should a champion that is considered very hard to play have a 52-53% winrate while sporting one of the highest pickrates in top lane. Even with the "gutting" of conqueror, her winrate barely changed.

"Taking skill to play" shoud mean skill cap, and Riven being overpowered doesnt change the fact that she is one of the hardest champs in the game to play well or perfectly .

im not taking a side here, but when you make a champion strong enough, they dont take skill to play.

they buffed Vayne to the point where every idiot can just pick her up and win with her. she has 50%+ winrate for people who have no experience with her, and shes not even weak early game against other marksmen anymore.

there are still enough idiots pretending she takes skill to play.

Depends on your definition of "taking skill to play" then. Sure u can do well by right clicking and pressing Q on Vayne, but playing her well still takes skill.

That's literally what he said there. Essentially, the Vayne buffs lowered the skill one needs to play Vayne to good success to a minimum.

btw yea no, assasins arent good rn other then that one cat that builds bruiser, and the other one that has 3 ability upgrades and teamfight relevancy. You know. The grasshopper and the cat. Zed is harder to take down now, but he still falls off late game and suddenly his 15/2 score becomes 15/8 in a matter of 6 minutes, and talon? well. Lets just say hes only powerful until level 9. Wukong is trash unless u get duskblade and go full bruiser, uuhh oh yeah mages dont count as assasins, never will, so leblanc, zoe, etc are taken off the list. Akali? well shes trash.. Katarina? You need to know what the hell is even happening when you play that champ to get fed, not to mention her laning phase before 3 is the funniest shit, and all mages counter her so fking hard. Uhhh. Oh oh.. Know the best counter to assasins? Game knowledge and common sense. Plz, assasins are pretty much always shit after duskblade got removed from the game
