Buff Enchanter Healing/Shielding AP scaling, remove or lower item Bonus % Heal and Shield power

The main problem with Enchanters is not that they're powerful healers/shielders/buffers, but they can get too much utility without sacrificing their healing/shielding power for it. So buff their AP scaling, remove and or lower % Bonus Healing/Shielding from items, and buff Ardent's AP.

You should choose between building for equal utility and protection, heavy protection and lower utility, or higher utility and lower protection, not have both high utility and high protection.

And give Enchanters a reason to run the Revitalize rune if they want healing/shielding amplification, maybe even buff its outgoing healing/shielding. Revitalize is a rune that would make sense for them to use, since it's a healing shielding amplification, but I don't see them ever running it.

So.. instead of picking AP or heals/shields, they get both from one stat?

Karma's in a pretty bad spot as is, and could definitely use some help. And Enchanters all already get both from building AP. Most of them had have some pretty good AP scalings on Healing/Shielding abilities already. Just that building the utility items gets them powerful heals and shields in addition to the utility they already have in their kits, and it's cheaper to build the utility items than AP.

Much cheaper, and most of them get more powerful out of spending less money than they do spending more money. And it lets them make good use out of an item that's meant for tank supports, (item 3190 and not Enchanters. When this happened with other classes, this got the item nerfed, or nerfed then changed, or replaced entirely.

An AP ratio buff to their healing and shielding to reward AP builds, and a removal of which are generally less frustrating to play against than the current utility item builds, which basically gives a second ultimate (item 3107) for a low price in addition to whatever other utility items they buy.

item 3174 returning as a core item for Enchanters would also be pretty swell, since it requires interaction for its healing rather than just passively amplifying healing/shielding as a stat stick.

I don't mind enchanters being strong, though I am pretty biased against enchanters as an assassin main, I don't want them nerfed. I'd actually like to see enchanters get their healing/shielding buffed for high AP builds. Because that'd mean they'd be building large amounts of AP, which costs more for their power, rather than running Ardent, Redemption, and Locket which they aren't even supposed to be using as a class.

This may be a pro vs mid-elo thing, but i rarely see karma building all shieldbot items (or do that myself). Nobody seems to understand or respect her ability to spam RQ every few seconds on dump people that cluster in a bush.

I don't see Karma building all shieldbot items either, but Karma's more of a hybrid mage and enchanter rather than pure enchanter like Lulu, Janna, and Soraka. (The three of which are crowding out hybrid enchanters and non-enchanters thanks to the amps) And a defensive AP scaling buff to Karma, as well as all the pure enchanters, in exchange for removing the amps.

I wouldn't mind Enchanters getting a net defensive AP scaling buff at all, and I'm a Jungle/Mid Assassin-y champ main, if it meant that it was a net buff in the lategame in exchange for shifting power from the massive three item midgame powerspike they get.

No I like that Itemization is what can make a good Support vs a Great Support.

Nerf LifeSteal and healing. Would Rather there be shields that go away and go away when the Support is not around or dead then to have the ADC heal for 30% of their max HP per Auto attack.....

I'm all in for removing heal/shield power completely so more focus can go into proper timing and usage, which was what made enchanters not as "braindead OP" before season 6.

But buffing AP scalings... do we want another case of Lulu mid/top dominating solo lanes for 2 more years?

As it says in the title, Buff Healing/Shielding AP scalings. A buff to Healing and Shielding AP scaling, rather than damage. Like a .1/.2 AP ratio increase on heal/shield abilities across the board for the Enchanters that would be losing the Bonus 20/30 or even 40% healing and shielding amplifcation from the items.

So that they still get powerful Heals/Shields if they build large amounts of AP, or they can go more for building some utility items (item 2065 item 3905 )while mixing in some larger AP items for powering up their own healing/shielding abilities.

And adjusting Redemption to have a 40% larger base healing.

Which is a small Buff to single item Redemption in comparison to live, and a huge Nerf if you have Ardent/Mikael's in addition to Redemption.

Because Healing/Shielding Amplification is 3x more effective on Redemption than it is on on other things for some reason, and Redemption as it is, is like having a second ultimate that doesn't care if you die. And given that Locket is supposed to be a defensive Item for tanky Supports and not Enchanters, if the unnecessary amps are removed,

And maybe enchanters will more commonly builditem 3174 again, which I think could use a small (or even big) buff, and playing against an enchanter that pokes in preparation to build up a huge shield is easily preferable to dealing with the amps since it's about interacting rather than just passively amplifiying dispensed stats.

Even as an Assassin main, and I admit I'm pretty biased against Enchanters as an assassin main, I don't really want enchanters getting nerfed. Enchanters being strong is a good thing. I just want them to be more interactive. Less being a glorified stat stick to apply to a teammate, more about doing interactive things to help teammates out.

That would still make their solo lane counterparts outclass their intended roles because building AP with (ideal) support income won't do much, unless they have high bases like Zyra and Brand do.

That was exactly the case with Lulu mid/top long ago, because she needed AP to do well, which can't be obtained through (ideal) support income.
