MY personal PSA's that i feel are forgotten

warning. meh-ish english inc.

a few days ago i saw the psa on reddit about not killing illaois tentacles due to them only slapping for you once every 10 seconds or so and them not being able to spawn when theres already one in the spot youre standing in. i made the same post a long time ago but it kinda went by unnoticed.

so just for shits and giggles, heres a PSA list of all the things i saw in the last 2 weeks, that i tend to see (or not see) quite a lot. if just one of them ever helps you, thats great :D

1. standing behind baron does way more dmg. when you stand behind baron, his backspikes will hit you. and no matter what chammp you are and how much resistances you have, these spikes will destroy you. / also dont tank baron for too long and then fight the enemys. baron applies a debuff to everyone fighting him that reduces your armor and mr. you will melt away.

2. if there is an ap shaco in the game, dont try to kill his boxes once you triggered them. too many times i see people trying to autoattack shaco boxes. which is okay when he is ad. but if he is ap, man these things will deal A LOT of damage to you before you kill them.

3. tryndamere can use his ult NO MATTER THE CC! tryndamere is as far as i know the only champ who can use his ultimate no matter what kind of cc hit him. he can/could(?) even ult while in GA animation. and his ult is on very low cd later on. dont get fooled.

4. only penetrates BONUS ARMOR! im not sure how skills like rammus w work with it, but in a nutshell: this item only penetrates armor the enemy has FROM ITEMS! i see this especially in bloodmoon where people rush this item thinking they penetrate 35% armor. nope. theres only zhonyas and ninja tabis in bloodmoon, thus this item is basically a huge waste of gold. dont believe me? go into sandbox mode and test it on a dummy. buy 50ad and attack the dummy. sell them and get lord's. you will deal the same amount of dmg to the 100 armor dummy.

5. do NOT take the heal relics in aram/ascension if you are under open wounds and not in danger. this debuff decreases all healing on you by 40% (or 60%?). if you are not in danger, just wait till the debuff is gone and then pick up the heal.

6. do not underestimate summons like tibbers, daisy and yoricks ult. i dont think this needs explanation but the amounts of times i saw people fight these champs while their summon hit them... they can deal a lot of damage. if you are in lane just fall back. eventually they tank the tower or just run out of time.

7. as adc, try to ignore CERTAIN champions that jump you. yes as adc you are a glas canon AND only in really special scenarios you can ignore enemy champs. but just to give an average example: if leona fully engages you but the enemys cant follow up, do not focus leona. try to ignore her and hit the enemys from a save distance/spot. after her cc combo leona/alistar/insert champs here, is only a brick wall that you can walk around.

8. voidstaff >>> rabadons in almost ALL cases. i could show some big math graphics of youtubers testing this etc but im too lazy. void staffs PURE magic pen (not like lord dominiks. void staff penetrates even the 40 mr from an adc) is usually better than rabadons. rabadons is only "stronger" on champs that can shield. or veigar. since shields do scale with ap, rabadons is just stronger. and well veigar is veigar. he is his own rabadons, which buys another rabadons.

9. do NOT get more than 200-250 armor/mr. the max amount of damage you can reduce is 95% which you will get when you have ~ 700 armor on rammus. when you have 250 armor you reduce around 80% of damage. it is not worth to stack even more armor because at 200 armor you will barely gain any more resistances. same goes for MR. get a warmogs instead. or other items with lots of hp that might support/damage a bit.

10. aery can give stealth champ away. if you step on a teemo shroom with teemo hiding in lane, you will see where aery is flying to when she returns to teemo. or shaco. or twitch if you are still poisoned. this helps you predict where they are. this also works with . you will see that "shield" and it always points in the direction where the enemy champ is.

11. 1 reports does as much as 9. why do i even mention this im pretty sure the majority on the boards knows this.

12. try NOT to kill the target that zilean ulted. a full ap zilean ult will heal a target for around 2000 hp. usually used on adcs/apcs, they will be full hp again. when you see zilean ulting a target with a few 100 hp left, try to ignore them for a few seconds until zils ult runs out. then kill them.
