Almost like there are totally different teams for MM and skins 🤔

The first priority of any company is making money.

That said, attempts to make the game more fun, more balanced, more fair, etc. help to retain players and entice new players, which results in more customers.

Matchmaking balance is for the goal of making money, not a separate issue.

Agreed. If riot actually fixed their system I would be in challenger already. the dumb system is so broken that i've been silver 2 and below for 3 years now.
