I have about 22 of them sitting in my inventory right now; and from what I gather there's 0 other use for them. Curious if they'll just sit in my inventory forever.

sheldonbunny1 votesNext week you'll be able to buy another chest for 1500 ip and craft a free project skin with the cores as well. It's random which blueprint you'll get from the chest, but one of the older ones.

Quepha1 votesAfter the triangle icons there is one more chest you can get next week called the Disruption cache.
In it there will be a blueprint for a random, non-Ashe/Ekko/Katarina, PROJECT skin shard that you can turn into an actual skin shard (still not a skin, you'll need to spend some essence for that) with 11 cores.
Any cores you have leftover after that will eventually be able to be disenchanted into essence.
