Shouldn't winning spree have a higher impact on LP gain?

I have been on constant 5 or more game winning streaks lately but only gaining 25 lp a game. Doesn't that seem a bit too low? I was last season gold and I stopped playing for a few weeks after mmr reset, now all the silvers from last season has climbed back to silver(where i am placed after reset) and I am just rekting them, this doesn't feel fun at all.

It does in a way, win more consistently and your win rate rises, eventually leading to higher lp gains and lower lp losses.

it works like this in the long run both ways i think. But not in the short term like 5 game win streak doesnt drastically change your lp gain, lol
