And yet mages got hit the hardest by the complete removal of any flat magic pen in sorcery along with the complete removal of DFT from the game.
Brand wasn't even buffed because of Runes those changes were from last cycle to help him lane mid, so make that 0 mages buffed due to rune changes.

Bootleg Gay4 votesIt's only the first pass. Literally every champion in the game will be buffed at some point, but it'll probably be closer to the actual Runes Reforged patch that it happens.
Jaspers1 votesThe numbers seem small enough they are just compensation buffs for lack of an extra few AD from current Runes. It might be the first batch as looking at those who got buffs the all seem like skirmishers/fighters. When they get to the next batch of champs, they'll do them too.
I mean tanks (those who obviously will pick Resolve) will probably need buffs as their second bonus only gives them health. Just because you picked Resolve as it's the best for that champ, doesn't mean you don't want to deal some damage.
DuskDaUmbreon1 votesOkay. First, no, a lot of mages got buffed. Because a lot of them have late-game power, and you have a rune that is nothing but late-game power. A lot of runes, actually. Ultimate Hat, Gathering Storm, and a couple others I can't remember the names of.
There's also a rune that increases your maximum mana. Something that, generally, only mages need, and which you can utilize for more AP.
Oh. And that's ignoring that everyone lost things. AD assassins lost their Lethality runes. Marksmen lost their AS (and likely sustain) from runes, tanks lost their CSing tools...
