Poll: nerf lethality or the champions strong with it?

So, we all agree lethality has been too strong since the buff. This lead to Varus/Jhin/MF/Talon/Quinn (etc, etc) being too strong. These champions are getting nerfed in the recent patch and on the PBE, sometime heavily, but lethality / lethality items is only receiving small nerfs. Do you think this is a good solution? Do you think it is healthier to nerf lethality (or lethality items), or nerf champions who are strong with it?

I personally think lethality / lethality items should be nerfed, not the champions. For example: make % pen apply after flat pen. Or, as someone suggested, it was to weak at 40% lvl 1 and too strong at 60% lvl 1? Make it 50.

I think the issue is if: first, champion are nerfed second, it is not enough, lethality is nerfed in a next patch - but champions are not buffed back, and fall into oblivion.

the items are the issue. although the hotfix nerf to item 3814 going live tomorrow should help a lot.

i dont understand why they are nerfning Varus or Jhin

varus was strong but he wasn't OP until lethality.

jihn is already on the verge of being OP but lethality pushed him way over the edge

on that note however.. i do think the Varus Nerf on PBE is done PERFECTLY. As this is what Varus SHOULD be doing anyways

Lethality. Why not just buff the champs whose kits were weak that Lethality boosted?

All this for a small handful of AD champs that needed the boost. It's a huge fudging up of the game, in my opinion.

I mean, they have no problem taking away stats from TANK items and putting those missing stats on tanks (they're experimenting with this right now).

i agree.. but i honestly cant even think of ONE AD that NEEDED the lethality buff to begin with

The only champions that might of needed it might of been JarvanIV or maybe even MonkeyKing but both wasn't really in that poor of a state before Lethality, they were just not as popular but still strong.
