Zyra's plants are really strong

Zyra's been starting to get a lot of attention as of late due to her insane zone control, especially in bot lane. The passive rework really did wonders for her but as a result she's a tad on the overbearing side at the moment. Already there's quite a bit of discussion going around as to how to nerf her, namely with the reach of her plant activation. I have a different opinion - the fact the plants are immensely resistant to magic is ridiculous. When Zyra could only spawn 2 or three at a time this made sense since Riot wanted her plants to still have some presence in her kit, which is why they were given something akin to "true health", however since Zyra can spawn so many now, it seems crazy that they can't get cleared out by AoE. It seems as though encouraging the decision of "Do I use my spells to clear her plants or attack Zyra directly?" should be a healthy gameplay decision put unto players. Right now there's simply never a scenario where doing this is advantageous. Wouldn't it be kind of neat to encourage a pattern where mages would have to "clear the bush" in order to get to Zyra, and her continuing to grow her garden to get a footing on her opponent? The fact that her plants are more present than ever is amazing as it truly defines her gameplay, however there just isn't quite a lot to do about them except wait them out and never get in their range.
